Release planning is a mechanism intended to ease the stresses of agile development. Building complex products is a challenge in itself. It is for the purpose of simplifying this process that release planning exists. Here is how you can create a plan to get your product completed:Get a cohesive image of the target. Make sure the entire team agrees that it is, indeed, the target. Then add details and guidelines to make sure the path taken to completion is prescribed to by all. Make sure there is some thinking going on before the project gets underway. That being said, there is a time and place for theory. Agile development is very iteration-based, and productivity is a big part of this. Establish estimates for the project. This refers to dates, times and output. Make sure you have a good idea of what to expect with these three values. The ultimate goal here, of course, is to produce a product. Enact all of these steps to reach that goal.AddThis Sharing ButtonsShare to FacebookFacebookShare to TwitterTwitterShare to PrintPrintShare to EmailEmailShare to MoreAddThis
